In this project, I assisted artist Dannielle Tegeder for the 2010 Art in Odd Places exhibition “Chance.” This festival focused on the urban history of 14th Street, New York City and the experiences we encounter on the streets. The process involved hailing a cab, interviewing the drivers about their experiences and asking directions to random locations as if driving from Union Square. The project resulted in small books that were distributed in the back of random taxi cabs for people to find and read.
